He is right in this one. The Monaco circuit doesn't cause much degradation to the tyres. And there is always very important to start on the front row in order to win the race. Schumacher was on pole at Monaco last year before taking a 5 place grid penalty and Rosberg who started from 2nd battled with Mark Webber for victory all the way. So Mercedes could win here. But Alonso should be worried more about Red Bull. The Energy drink outfit won here in the last three seasons and I don't see any reason why they should not win again.
