I don't blame Pirelli in any way, shape or form for the current situation. As others have said, Pirelli were given a specific brief by the FIA and that is what they have delivered. The trouble is, two or three stops is fine, four is starting to push it a bit. All they are trying to do, I believe, is to make two/three stops the norm rather than three/four. This would still favour the teams who had figured out the current tyres. Personally, I am not a great fan of any of the measures bought in to artificially spice up the racing but I know many are.
By the way, how about an extra point for pole and fastest lap?
