The compound change was done by Pirelli after they declared it going to be done, this was before Spain, it was as a result of Mercedes and RBR screaming murder, before the race in Spain I said that Mercedes were going to be hit the hardest, neither Pirelli nor the FIA can and will change anything without first advising the teams of such change, the compounds change was done to the hard tyre only, the operating minimum temperature was lowered from 110 to 100 degrees. All compounds before that were as per tyres supplied since brazil sample last year.
