Changing the tyres construction at the 7th race of the season to put all teams in a more equal position because some teams weren’t up to the job in making their cars looks after the tyres is nothing less than moving the goal posts. The rules don’t allow this change unless on safety reasons and the supposedly experienced SKY commentators and some of the more intelligent posters from on here are supposed to know this, including that it amounts to changing the goal posts. The new for 2013 tyre was agreed on with all teams, all teams had the same information/data/samples/testing time on these tyres, those that did a better job should not be penalized, those that messed themselves up should be left to try harder in solving their problem and not be thrown a live saver to the determent of the others.
