Stating the obvious a little bit here, but if the Mercs manage to lock up the front row in Monte Carlo, one of them may be able to hang on and win the race. Unless Fernando has another demon start and spoils their party. Strategy and pit stops will still play a part, but the tyres may not come into play as much as last race. Unless the Mercs really eat them up again!
Then there's always the backmarkers....and the safety car element....since a few of the new young drivers will be competing in the streets of Monaco for the first time. Those barriers are awfully close!
