taz. wasn't the mini programme actually a PRODRIVE project, and not an official bmw affair. but bmw offer a lot of support to various production based categories such as wtt etc, all of which are standardising engines at 1.6 turbos. the only downside is that bmw do not make a v6, but I guess that if they decided to re- enter f1, the v6 could be introduced into their range?
