The reality is that at his age his career is in it's last stages and he unlikely to be able to pick and choose if he leaves or is pushed out of Mclaren. Unlike Webber and Massa he has a World championship to look back on even if it was not the most well earned. He should stick with Mclaren bad as they are at the moment in the hope that they might improve in the next couple of years. A bad Mclaren is better than a average something else down the grid and it unlikely any of the top teams would want him at his age.
