I think it's very unfair to say his WDC was not well earned. He took what he had and did the best with it that he could. Are you saying that Vettels 3 WDC's were not well earned? After all, the 2011 bull was far and away more superior than the brawn was. Ever since winning the WDC he has finished in the top 5 in the WDC and would have won it again in 2011 had it not been for the the vast superiority of the red bull. Lets put it this way, since they both won their WDC's, who out of Button and Hamilton has come closer to winning it again? And lets remember how Hamilton won his WDC - on the last corner of the last lap of the last race of the season because another driver was on the wrong tires. Well earned?
