I watched their straight line testing at Duxford last week.
So in fairness why not use a team that eats rubber during the race.
So now it's done and assuming that Mercedes were not able to test new parts ( which in my humble opinion would be unfair ), are the rest of the teams to gain access to technical tyre DATA to benefit from the test.
What type of test was it.
Was it a Mercedes test day which Pirelli joined.
Was it a Pirelli test which Mercedes were invited to join.
Time will tell.
But it was not cheating.
Any what would they learn from a medioca driver in a Mercedes.
