Richard, the driver (Rosberg) Monaco win and points will not be touched whatever the outcome. Mercedes made changes in their approach to the tyres in Monaco, made changes to the suspension, made changes to brake ducts, made changes to the exhaust/plum path which shows that they had benefitted from the test, before the test they were the only team running their tyres 20 degrees too hot and so they were the fastest destructing their tyres. Regulations clearly states that teams are not allowed to test current cars with their current drivers outside of official testing during the season, Charlie Whiting says not aware that Mercedes would use a current car and drivers for the test, says approval was conditional upon the test being run by Pirelli not the team.
