I think it's deeply hypocritical to complain about Hamilton's life style or image. He has a pop star girl friend and a puppy, so what? It does not mean he's lost focus. No one dedicates 100 percent of their time to work, so why should he? So he's hanging out with rappers, fine. Would people be complaining about losing focus if he spent that time doing charity work children instead?
This critique is just F1 being elitist and culturally snobbish as far as I'm concerned. Times are changing, Watson, like it or not. I'm not a fan of either hip hop or Hamilton, but I fail to see how his cultural preferences have anything to do with his driving. That is all.
