Mark, exactly, that’s what I said on the Kimi/Perez page right after the race at Monaco namely that “an overtake in Monaco is in most cases a forced overtake” because of the nature of the track, and because of that (necessity of forced overtakes) the driver in front (in Monaco) will not leave any space for a possible overtake regardless if the attempting over taker will be able to make the corner or not, both Alonso and Kimi made that mistake (left space), Alonso thought the better of it, Kimi closed the door.
