@whitew "Some of the problem with McLaren is that Button is absolutely rubbish at setting up the car. Lewis would have had the car competitive by now." The last time McLaren had an bad car it was 2009 and Hamilton was their driver. At round 7 in 2009 Hamilton Qualified 16th and finished the race in 13th! During the race he got on the radio to tell the team how bad the car was and that if they wanted to win races they needed to build him a new car. At round 8 he finished 16th! At round 9 he finished 18th! So PLEASE, spare us the crap that Hamilton is the setup master and would have the car sorted by now, because historical FACTS show us that to be nothing but ********!
