the merc cars are fitted with a large number of sensors, and any info detected to these is sent to and stored in merc computers. apart from that, the drivers are like computers, they can sense what difference a tyre makes etc. to suggest that all info from a test belongs to Pirelli is absolute balderdash. if that was the case, why would merc bother to provide a 2013 car and their two current drivers?
merc, in a statement even went as far as to say they learnt more about the tyres! as I , and others have sad, you cannot unlearn information.
