There are rumours that the outcome of the hearing could decide Merc's long term future in F1. With that in mind I hope the FiA don't bottle it (again) and give them a little slap on the wrists. A financial penalty is pointless, removing constructors points is futile since they have no chance of winning the championship anyway. The best penalty is a 2 or 3 race ban, teaches them a lesson and benefits the other teams who are the real victims of their cheating ways.
Sadly I wouldn't be surprised if Brawn gets set up as the fall guy and gets the chop and Merc get a fine and a suspended ban.
