I find it pretty hard to believe that the different brake systems, integrated inside the wheel would affect the placement of a wheel brake duct. Merc should already have a system for gauging different volumes/flows of input for different demands. If anything Lewis should have been on the backfoot working with an 'unplanned' system. So with all due respect 107SS that proposition is bunk. Especially when teams are putting 'tape' on the duct to control flow, lolz.
Yeah I dont think that was a factor at all. If anything the rumors of Nico spilling the beans with Vettel had a bigger impact on Nico's setup/investment at Canada, and who could blame Mercedes, really.
