Vettel because of the car will always have doubt cast at his actual ability. History will record a remarkable German driver with at least 3 WDC's to his name.
To be classed as a great he should move to another team such as Ferrari who I agree, all drivers aspire to drive for. Then at least the spell of a Newey design could be put to bed and people recognise the talent he has. The flip of that is, if he fails to register a WDC at his new team he will forever be damned as a one trick pony Newey luck boy!
Personally I believe Alonso is his better and Hamilton whilst not as metronomic as Vettel, actually is a 'naturally faster racer. Vettel has a remarkable ability over all of them as 'consistent' in his racing. That's his skill for me. Allied with the RBR is a winning combination
