If he dumps everything else on his agenda/calendar to focus exclusively on driving, the team continues to screw Nico with DNFs/ team orders/bad strategy calls, Merc avoids being taken out by tire-gate, Ferrari/Alonso get lost on upgrades, Lotus/Kimi just give up out of frustration, and the wheels fall off Red Bull's entire operation... yes, he has a chance. In few races, if Merc is unable to make use of the data they gained in testing to fix the rear grip issues causing severe degradation, that chance will shrink to zero. Better money will be on Lewis ending up in his usual 4th for the year - behind Vettel, Alonso, and either Kimi, Weber, or Nico - supported by his regular list of excuses.
