@Elijah - there is so much wrong about this from Mercedes, Pirelli, and the FIA that singling out Mercedes for punishment seems unjust. Clearly Mercedes did not act alone so then Pirelli should be punished for facilitating the test and possibly misleading Mercedes that the other teams had been given the same opportunity. Charlie should be punished for appearing to condone the test. If the goal is to get Mercedes out of F1 then the FIA are doing a great job.
