@whitew - if you think that Nico's win at Monaco was because of the data gained at Pirelli's test then I wonder how much you really know about the sport. Mercedes have been good qualifiers this year. The nature of the Monaco track allowed them to control the pace and limit tire degradation. Remind me how they did at Canada, a more typical F1 track. The emails from Charlie appeared to be collusion in looking for a "loophole". I was not aware that the FIA delegates were allowed to point out or recommend loopholes. Unlike the Ferrari test Merc were not running their own program. Even if it is only a young drivers test they will lose valuable data by not participating. In my opinion this was a just decision.
