Seems to me, every time I've heard of the "approval" from Charlie Whiting, was that it was allowed - if EVERY team was given the opportunity to participate- which they weren't. How anyone can call three days of testing with current cars, current drivers, and current tires, not an unfair advantage, well take off the blinders and put on a blindfold with your team (Mercedes) colors on it.
