I don't even like Mercedes or their drivers but to me it was clear that the test was conducted by Pirelli not Mercedes.
@yachtJohn - (isn't that call the head?) do you think that the penalty will right the situation? Surely a three day test in which Mercedes could run their own program albeit with young drivers would be of more benefit than running Pirelli's program with little to no data to analyze nor the knowledge of which tires are fitted to the car.
