sunny. the engine noise is not too bad. yes shriller than the vv8, but nowhere near the shrillness of the engines we adore V and flat 12s. the noise is also less shrill than the previous turbos, so we will get used to them fairly quickly. remember the outcry when they went from v10 to v8? now nobody wants to go to v6!
actual engine looks quite small, it is just the ancilliaries that make it look big. await some clever repackaging by newey!
Ptolemy. they will be recovering heat from the engine to create steam,, which will be used to drive a steam turbine to add power to the rear wheels.
