Sorry to have left out that, the 2014 engine redline will probably be closer to 12000rpm because of the maximum fuel restriction.
The new V6 have a raised crankshaft 90mm above the reference plane, the V8 has been 58mm. The centre of gravity (engine) of the V8 lay at a point no higher than 165mm from the reference point, the V6 will be raised to 200mm. The overall weight (minimum) for the engine has been raised from 95kg to 145kg.
