Sadly the RBR/Merc lobby to get harder tyres paid off wonderfully for those two teams again with Pirelli bringing some of their harder compounds to the forthcoming races and Lotus will get f00ked as a result.
I predict Lotus will fall back significanly to the point where they are the 4th team again, they just don't have the resources to develop the car at the same rate as RBR, Ferrari and Mercedes.
Maybe at tracks that are really hard on tyres and/or where it's really hot the Lotus team can still get a couple podiums but in the end they'll probably end in the same spot they were last year which realistically is all you can expect anyway of course budgetwise.
