I'm a bit confused by this discussion.
In the future, should Charlie Whiting's opinion be taken seriously by any team? Before, during, after races, whatever. Does he represent the FIA or not??
And what about an FIA lawyer? Does he normally pronounce the official FIA position, or just an opinion?
