contd. to be honest , Charlie does in fact say in any correspondence, that it is his OPINION. anyone can have an opinion and another steward or fia rep could well have had a different opinion, so who would merc go by? merc were remiss in not getting full approval, and instead proceeded on the basis of one persons opinion. brawn should have known better, knowing his various brushes with the fia. or maybe he did and was trying to use it to his advantage?
Pirelli have been criticised strongly, but even though they bore a proportion of blame, they expected brawn to sort out the permission.
