35. first of all, Pirelli and merc claimed that they were only testing 2014 tyres...nothing to do with safety in any way. they only threw in the issue of testing 2013 tyres in the interests of safety, after a letter from three drivers was revealed. why deny they were testing 2013 tyres, if it was genuinely a safety issue? and it still required agreement of ALL teams.
secondly, Pirelli WERE found that they had breached their contract in relation to testing with a current car in contravention of their contract.
no third party contractor can act as dictator!
