Vettel was told over the radio that the team had added 2psi to the tires they just put on the car. That is a considerable amount of air/gas for an F1 car. Leads me to believe that the lower pressures coupled with a crumbly tire on the high speed circuit BOTH contributed to the blow outs. Tryiing to save tire wear with under inflations may work on the family car.
