Clearly, if the kerbs have not changed, a more flexible sidewall on this years radial tyre as opposed to last years crossply could have been a significant factor.
While it looks like a bad kerb/green concrete interface - we all know they will take the best possible line with two wheels on the black unless the kerb is a severe deterent - but no need to make it dangerous, although no support race problems - are they all cross ply/stiffer tyres?
