It's all very well stating the blindingly obvious but the facts have not changed, Mclaren have failed to win an manufacturers championship since 1998 and have only won one drivers championship which was luckily won at the last race of the season. They may win races but their policy of having two number one drivers works against them. Last year for instance they won I think seven races but did not win either championship. Hamilton should have been NO1 with Button in his proper position as a good NO2, then possibly Hamilton would have won the championship and not left the team. With a design team who manage to get too many things wrong too often and a NO1 driver who is not up to the task of being competitive ALL of the time I don't see them winning too many more championships in the near future. Their glory days are behind them and their ego needs to shrink in proportion to what they actually achieve.
