Any fault or financial responsibility for the photographers injuries lie securely upon the shoulders of FOM. If the crews are required to wear safety equipment, so should every person allowed in the pits. It is a dangerous area and reasonable precautions should have been taken. Racing is dangerous and one needs to be aware of their surroundings, even in the pits. Red Bull wasn't the first, and won't be the last, to release a car before it is safe to do so. The pressure cooker that is the 2.5 second pit stop causes errors, it is just the nature of the beast.
