richard, You're completely right in some contexts, but not in all contexts. In other words, you are only making half the argument. Have you actually asked yourself WHY Ferrari would not allow Massa to hold Fernando up in those few races where he qualifies ahead? Do you think it's because the team simply "dislike" Felipe, or because Fernando has earned it in the context of every world championship battle? Everyone can see and understand the logic of Ferrari asking Massa not to hold Fernando up, because Fernando is the one hunting Vettel down in the WDC. The point is that Fernando has put himself in the position for the team to do that - and they are not doing it for some abstract reason! If the situation was reversed, the team would do exactly the same. And that is Skooter's point. You say that you are a die-hard tifosi, but this point seems easily lost on you...
