there is an interesting issue on these new tyres....the ones that were creating a roblem wer tyres designed with a bias in the weave of the belt. this was to make a unidirectional tyre,, but then teams swaped tyres from side to side, and the adverse bias was then causing the overheating. pirelli had clear markings on the barcode label to denote which side a tyre was to be used on, and teams flouted that. have a look at the bar code on the NEW tyres. they are no longer coded left or right. this seems to imply that there is no longer a bias on the belt. so tyres will be able to be swapped with no adverse effect. interesting!
