Yes he's right! He cannot win titles with 2nd place finishes. He tried it ten years ago and came short to two points behind Schumacher. But he should try to outscore Vettel again in the next few races, and with Alonso and Hamilton in the mix as well..who knows. Vettel is winning not just because he has won more races but because he is the most consistent. He finished all the races in the top four. Just look at Rosberg. He won 2 races as Alonso and more than Kimi and Lewis, but his inconsistency has put him in a distant sixth in the standings.
