Firestorm, I can understand Alonso's frustrations with the car but telling the Worlds media that he'd rather have someone else's car isn't exactly helpful. How do you think that makes the Ferrari, management, engineers, mechanics, designers etc feel?
They are a team and should act like a team. If Alonso made a mistake during a race and LDM told the media I'd rather have someone else's driver I don't think Alonso would be too impressed.
Alonso has been an excellent team leader at Ferrari so far, a surprise to me I must admit but this comment is a black mark against him.
He's lucky Enzo isn't still in charge, as that comment would have got him booted out no doubt.
