With this statement, Alonso has had every right to criticise the the and ask for a different car. And di Montezemolo was out of hand for his treatment of Alonso. The car started very competitive this year, but has not kept up the pace, and from Silverstone, it showed that that it is not competitive. As for Massa, he was a good driver, but has lost his pace.
