"Pirelli are making tyres to the FIA spec. If they wanted to they could probably make a tyre that would last the whole season but that is not what the FIA want and they are the ones with the cheque book. Fuel consumption is already controlled although largely by the teams themselves who short fuel the cars hoping they can make it to the finish. " Anyone know where they published this spec ??? LOLZ. The spec is from Pirelli, You think The FIA is in the drawing room with Pirelli when they design and test/engineer the tires? LMAO. Stop repeating what you are told. The FIA want weak sauce tires to help promote tv ratings so Vettel and the likes do not leave Ferrari looking sorry. Sorry for being the messenger of the obvious. This is the way motorsports is going, SLOWER ! Now they will be tightly rationing fuel and tires, lmao, let politicians take away the invisible hand and this is what you get, but not as sad as the people who repeat what they are told.
