It seems Lotus provides weekly press releases stating they are certain they can keep Kimi. And they claim the financing is in place to secure the future of the team. Yet this "done deal" seems anything but. I am beginning to think that Kimi wants to stay and is waiting to see if the finances really are in place, and Boullier makes these statements to assure all is well in the Lotus camp. Hope so, but the longer this plays out the more likely he will leave, as it is almost certain he has received a concrete offer from Red Bull.
