Sauber today is denying this story, claiming money is beginning to flow and that the young Russian will be in the car next week. Posturing on their part? Possibly. Sloppy journalism in the quiet summer break? Ditto. Time will tell, but if the latter, I do wish the media would better understand the negative impact their musings can have on the livelihoods of hundreds of people.
