Tungsten used as balance weight is bolted to the chassis, they can break at the bolt holes.
The lowermost part of the car is known as the reference plank (skid plate) it is made of risen infused wood based composite so it is none sparking, the only metal parts on it is the titanium bolts securing it to the chassis, these bolts can spark if grounded but for that to happen the skid plate will be worn way past the limit of the rules.
In the 1980’s they used titanium skid plates which used to produce spectacular sparks.
