Nice move by Alonso - mind you, he'd get murdered if he tried to race against pro cyclists. They are on another plane compared to other pro sportsmen. Schumacher used to train with Tony Rominger in Switzerland - now he (MS) was fit, but on the alpine climbs when he was "on the rivet", Rominger just rode away up the mountain. Leave the drug issue aside - it is hopefully moving into the past, in cycling - maybe more so than other sports. As a sometime racer (got my BC race license), it's good to see some faith being shown in our sport.
