My assertion that Button would only have himself to blame is based on his very poor qualifying record and his small number of wins (six of which came in the best car by far in 2009) The facts speak for themselves really, who would Taipan and all the others rather have in their car Button or Alonso, I rather think I know the answer to that question. Button is good but he is not in the top two or three and that's my point as well, Mclaren say they know how to win and how they have had only the best drivers Senna, Prost, Lauda etc Button is not and never was in that league. When somebody like Alonso becomes available they will try to sign him regardless of past history as they know he is absolute top draw and willget the job done assuming they don't produce another poor car.
