Hiding Name, it certainly isn't an inane question and no shame in asking it. How it is listed depends on where you've seen the list. On the FIA's own website you will see the list says, for example: Team: MERCEDES GP PETRONAS F1 TEAM Constructor: Mercedes Team: FORCE INDIA F1 TEAM Constructor: Force India Mercedes Team: VODAFONE MCLAREN MERCEDES Constructor: Mclaren Mercedes But what they all get called by other sites, journalists and fans is a bit of a mystery. Some sites refer to teams simply as Mercedes. Others list them as Mercedes-Mercedes. And on the TV graphics for sure they will simply be Mercedes, Force India, Mclaren, etc.
