Jerez F1 test times – day one: 11am

Kimi Raikkonen sets the early pace on day one of winter F1 testing, revelling in his return with Lotus as he leads from the off. No red flags to report as teams begin to bed in 2012 machines....
Full lap times as of 11am local time, on the opening day of the four-day F1 group test at Jerez de la Frontera in southern Spain.

Kimi's time is 0.3s faster than the fastest time set in winter testing last year......by? ....a Williams!(Barrichello) So I wouldn't get too excited!

Ferrari last year during testing completed the most trouble free laps the entire preseason. And it continued to be reliable all season, Ferrari, McLaren and all the other teams will want to know why they are not topping the time sheets. Every Lap every session every test are important, or why spend millions going
