It wouldn't matter if the times were colour-coded for the type of tyre as there are far too many other factors that we wouldn't know. We don't know if they're doing heavy fuel or light fuel runs. We don't know if they're testing aero bits or really going for it in a qualifying simulation. Unfortunately, you won't get an apple-to-apple comparison until Q3 in Melbourne.

I would like to see times color-coded so we can compare apples to apples. It would be great if everyone reporting times would use one color for primes and a different color for options. Currently it is difficult to get a feel for who is faster.
