Bahrain F1 test 1: Day four

Nico Rosberg posts the quickest time and keeps Mercedes top on day four at the Bahrain International Circuit.
Nico Rosberg set the pace for Mercedes today and headed the timesheets at the conclusion of day four in Bahrain. Jenson Button was 'best of the rest' for McLaren, albeit more than 1.5 seconds slower, followed by Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen, Williams newbie Felipe Nasr and Lotus man Pastor Maldonado. Daniel Ricciardo meanwhile only did 15 laps for Red Bull as the Milton Keynes-based outfit continued to struggle... Full report here.

The CRTs are still Marussia and Caterham, can't see that changing any time soon either. There is just better interteam competition in F1, which is why the racing is actually (semi)legitimate, despite all the controls being imposed on the teams and drivers.
