hopefully he's realised now that F3 cars understeer when following others! Doh! Making massive lunges behind other cars will just send you off onto the grass (and possibly into your team mate writing off his car) "but its not my fault, the team always has bad luck here"!

He will definatly need a learning year, if he can't raise the funds for 2 years then maybe he should have gone for national class or formula reanult then tried to make up the difference for a second year.

i think you both underestimate the talent of this lad. Yes he made a few mistakes, ah well. The boy obviously has talent and understands how to drive the things. 6th fastest lap im in the first race shows that. Jumping from a FF to a F3 car is a big step, he'll admit that himself just give the boy a chance, we've just finished the first round of a year long season!

'Arrogance of jumping straight from FF to F3'....
Well Charlie Kimball, Dan Clarke and Nick Tandy, to name but a few, have all employed the same type of 'arrogance' and they didn't/haven't faired too badly in F3.

Give the lad a chance he didn't jus dominate the british formula ford championship for nothing, hes a good driver, he will win races when the car is going well before the end of the year!!!
