García readies himself for Oulton Park test

Victor García continues his initiation to the British Formula 3 Championship when he takes part in the second pre-season test of the season at Oulton Park.

The Spaniard enjoyed his debut outing with the Fortec Motorsport team at Snetterton, where he proceeded to lap within 1.5secs of the leaders.

He will now turn his attentions to Oulton Park, where he is bidding to continue getting up to speed with the Mercedes-powered Dallara before the start of the season next month.

“After our first test at Snetterton on 24 February, we have been working hard analysing videos and telemetry to improve and be at 100% and make the most of the test,” he said. “I now feel much better physically.

“The objective of the first day is to get to know the circuit and evaluate the behaviour of certain components of the car. On the second day we will focus on the car setup, as the first race of the championship will be at this circuit.”
