Donington Park round rescheduled for July

The Donington Park rounds of the Cooper Tires British Formula 3 International Series and the Avon Tyres British GT Championship have been rescheduled to take place in July.

The event was originally intended to take place on 25/26 April, but problems owing to the current uncertainty surrounding racing at the venue following recent work to install a tunnel between McLeans and Coppice forced it to be postponed.

Nonetheless, SRO Motorsports Group has announced that it will instead visit the circuit on July 18/19.

"Donington Park is a very important venue for British F3 and GT, and the circuit has always been very supportive of the championships," said SRO Motorsports Group General Manager Bernadette Fitzsimons.

“So we are very pleased that an alternative date for the event could be found. We are looking forward to visiting the new and improved circuit.
